Established in 1958, Quanzhou Quangang Chemical Plant has flexible and efficient management and sufficient resource. Our company covers an area of 69,330 square meters. We have rich experience in producing agar-agar. The powerful technical force, advanced technical facilities, superior materials and perfect inspection means assure the quality of the products.

The annual production capacity of agar-agar amounts to 600 metric tons and carrageenan reaches 60 metric tons. Our company is one of the largest plants producing agar-agar and one of the plants which are authorized to produce medical agar-agar. Distilling agar-agar from laver in water jars is created by our plant, and won the first prize of technical development of Fujian Province and the fourth prize of national invention.

The 'Chengfeng' brand is a famous brand in Quanzhou City, and 'Chengfeng' brand edible agar-agar is awarded the "High-Quality Product" in Fujian Province. Our company has the ISO9001 certificate and was awarded the HACCP food security system certificate in June, 2004.
